Mr. Montee Ladson Jr. 83, of 327 Pollard Road, Simpsonville, South Carolina, died on Tuesday, August 4, 2020. The son of the late Rev. Montee Ladson Sr. and Leaner Beasley Ladson, was born in Greenville County on November 27, 1936. A well-respected, kind and providing husband and father, he was a member of Union Baptist Church and retired from Kemet Electronics in 2001. He is preceded in death by one daughter, Angela Lee Ladson; one sister, Mattie Lee Mitchell and three brothers, Franklin Allen Ladson, John Willie Ladson and Roosevelt Ladson. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Clara L. Ladson, a daughter, Pamela Ladson of the home; three sons, Eddie Joe Ladson of Fountain Inn, SC, Willie James (Beckie) Ladson of Easley, SC, Michael Anthony (Cheryl) Ladson of Simpsonville, SC, three sisters, Viola Woods of Simpsonville, SC, Christine Todd of Gray Court, SC and Patricia Turner of Gray Court, SC, one sister-in-law, Jennie Ray Ladson of Simpsonville; nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held 1 p.m., Sunday, at Union Baptist Church Cemetery. The Family is at the home. Beasley Funeral Home, Fountain Inn is caring for the family.
