Mrs. Missour Smith, of Concorde, North Carolina, transitioned Saturday, July 4, 2026.  Born in Greenville, SC, she was a daughter of the late Ellen Morton Thompson and wife of Sanford Smith. At an early age she joined the Bethlehem Baptist Church.  She was a 1966 graduate of Bryson High School.

Along with her mother, she is preceded in death by two daughters, Lisa Haden and Angela Blake.

Surviving her are husband, Sanford Smith; a daughter, Donna Edwards of Charlotte, NC; two sisters, Bobbie Jean Thompson and Genevie Redding of Greer; four grandchildren; extended family and friends.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced at an later date.
