Mrs. Minnie R. Aiken age 78, of 3013 Bethel Road Simpsonville, SC died Friday, June 3, 2016. Born in Greenville, South Carolina a daughter of the late George A. Griffin Sr., and the late Ruth Henderson Griffin. She was educated in the public schools of Greenville County and a 1956 graduate of Sterling High School. She was a member of Rock Hill #1 Baptist Church and a former employee of National Carbon. She is survived by two brothers, George A. (Virginia) Griffin Jr., and Tony Griffin both of Greenville, SC; one sister, Gladys Funderburk of Rancho Dominquez, California. Funeral service will be held 2pm Friday, June 10, 2016 at the Rock Hill Baptist Church with Reverend Willie J. Choice and Bishop J. W. Hester Sr.,officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family is at 5 Catlin Circle Greenville, SC the home of her brother and sister-in-law George A. and Virginia Griffin Jr. Beasley Funeral Home Greenville is in charge of arrangements.
