Maxine Wilkes August 14, 1969 – August 16, 2026

Maxine Wilkes, 57, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on August 16, 2026.

Born on August 14, 1969, she was the beloved daughter of the late Max Carson and Josephine Fields. Maxine was a devoted mother whose greatest joy was her family, and her memory will forever be cherished by those who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her loving children: her son, Jalen Wilkes, and her two daughters, Jasmine Wilkes and Saliah Smith, all of Greenville; along with a host of extended family members and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Max Carson and Josephine Fields.
