Mattie Delois Renia Wyatt-Cato (Lois) was born November 6, 1965, in Newberry, SC, to the late Thomas Wyatt and Mattie Wyatt. She was the eldest of 4 children: 2 sisters (Jacqueline Dillard (Sam) and Opal Peoples Wyatt) and 1 Brother (Thomas Wyatt Jr.). She was married to Glover Cato in Dec. 2014. She had 3 children: Demetrius Greene, Antonio Williams (Asia), and Arickus Williams Moussa. Lois had 7 grandchildren, who were her pride and joy. Mecasha, Kifayah, Safiyyah, Abu Bakr, Zaynab, Ayla, and Rawdah. She had a host of nieces and nephews with whom she also spent a lot of time: Heavenly, Promise, Nashyra, Jakell, and Diamond. Along with the many other nieces and nephews. During her lifetime, she worked in home health care as a CNA, caring for the elderly, various adults, and children. She loved living life to the fullest. She loved to cook, frequently traveled to different states, loved going to church (Mt. Pleasant), and spent time with her grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of meeting her. Leaving behind her husband, children, siblings, Aunts Minnie and Barbara, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her father, Mother, niece (Tekesha), aunts (Rosealee, Maggie, Mary (Sweet)), and lifelong friends (Arthur Young) and (Charles Greene).
