Mrs. Mattie Pearl Simmons, age 78, of 404 Gray Drive, Gray Court, South Carolina, passed away on Friday, April 25,2025 at the Greer Post Acute, in Greer, South Carolina. She is survived by two sons, Tyrone Rogers, Rashad (Stanika) Irby; one daughter, Maxine Simmons; one brother; Tommy Lee Coleman; one sister, Margaret Cook; 4 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mattie Peal Simmons, will be held 2 p.m., Tuesday, May 6,2025 at the Pleasant View Baptist Church in Gray Court, S.C. with Pastor C. Lamont Jones, officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant View Baptist Church Cemetery. The family is at the home.
