Ms. Mattie Harper, age 75, of 301 Reedy Fork Road Apt. 121 Laurens, S.C. passed away on Monday, September 19, 2022, at her home. She is survived by one son, Leonard Bernard Byrd of the home; two brothers, Robert E. (Madge) Byrd, Jerell Byrd Jr.; one sister, Christine B. Mickens; eleven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Funeral services for Ms. Mattie Harper will be held 1 p.m., Monday, September 26, 2022, at 1 p.m. at the CD Beasley Memorial Chapel of the Beasley Funeral Home, Laurens, with Reverend LaCresha Byrd officiating and Reverend C. C. Evans, presiding. The family is at the home. Beasley Funeral Home, Laurens is in charge of arrangements.
