Ms. Mary Spurgeon Houston, age 68, of 123 Friendly Drive, Fountain Inn, passed away Thursday, February 12, 2026.  Born in Greenville County, she was a daughter of the late Willie Lee Spurgeon and Carrie Lou Boyd Spurgeon.  She is survived by one son, Omari (Davishus) Houston; two brothers, James Williams and Tony Spurgeon; four sisters, Alice (J.D.) Richardson, Katrina Lee, Mary Ann Williams and Rena (Ken) Ray; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, February 21, 2026 at Greater New Hope Baptist Church.
