Mrs. Mary Lelia Atkinson, age 76, 4589 Mountville Road, Mountville, South Carolina, passed away on Thursday, April 30,2026, at the Self Regional Health Care in Greenwood, South Carolina.

She is survived by one son, Travis (Tywanda) Atkinson, one step-son, Mitchell Atkinson, a step-daughter, Sandra Atkinson; one sister, Vivian Pressley; her grandchildren; and great-grandchildren a host of many other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life for Mrs. Mary Lelia Atkinson will be held on Sunday, May 10,2026 at the St. Vaughnville Baptist Church in Chappells, South Carolina, beginning with Praise and Worship at 1:00 and Funeral Services at 1:30pm, burial to follow in the church cemetery, with Order of Eastern Star Rites.

Public Viewing will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2026 from 1-6pm at the Beasley Funeral Home Laurens.

The family are receiving family and friends at the home of her son Travis and Tywanda Atkinson 1236 Garlington Road, Mountville, South Carolina.
