Ms. Marilyn Laurie Thompson, age 60, of Charlotte, North Carolina passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2022 at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, North Carolina. She was formerly of Greenville County, South Carolina and has resided in Charlotte, North Carolina for the last twenty years. She is survived by her partner of twenty-two years Kathy Wright, and her dog children, Lindy and Luna all of the home; her father, Wallace (Patricia) Thompson Jr., of Mauldin, South Carolina; two brothers, Robert (Vicki) Thompson and Jamal Thompson both of Greenville, South Carolina; three sisters, Melissa Richard of Ellenwood, Georgia, Debra (Reggie) Stokes of Greenville, South Carolina and Nikki Ramsey of Spartanburg, South Carolina.

Public viewing for Ms. Thompson will be held on Friday, December 2, 2022 from 10:00am-6:00p.m at Beasley Funeral Home, Greenville.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00am Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Beasley Funeral Home Chapel Greenville. Burial will immediately follow services in Poplar Spring Baptist Church Cemetery, Simpsonville.
