Mr. Luther Walker, Jr., age 68 of 524 Centre Blvd Greenville, SC died Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Magnolia Manor Nursing Home. Born in Greenville County, SC a son of the late Luther Walker Sr., and the late Annie Lou Brown Walker. He is survived by his wife, Emma Lee Taylor Walker of the home; one brother, Freddie L. Walker of Greenville, SC; six sisters, Nellie Walker-Williams of Washington, DC, Annie Walker-Whitner, Bessie C. Walker, Jessie M. Walker-Jones, Frances Walker and Patricia (Melvin) Walker-Ashmore all of Greenville, SC. Funeral service will be held 3pm Sunday, April 24, 2016 at the Flat Rock Baptist Church with Rev. Christopher Scott officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family is at 1002 Whitehorse Road, the home of his sister Jessie M. Walker-Jones. Beasley Funeral Home, Greenville is in charge of arrangements.
