Ms. Louie Tarrence, age 84, of Greenville, South Carolina transitioned from labor to reward on Thursday, October 3, 2024, at Chandler Creek Post Acute, Greenville, South Carolina. She was the daughter of the late Lewis Oliver Tarrance and Nettie Mae Billups Tarrence and was educated in the public schools of Greenville County.

After graduation, she found employment at Swirls Manufacturing in Easley, South Carolina, where she worked for forty years until the plant closed. Still a young woman she began working at Pendleton Manor caring for the residents and supporting the facility for twenty-plus years until she retired.

She is survived by four sisters, Nettie Nesbit, Bertha Berry, Gladys Ashmore, Juanita D. Miller, and Minister Peggy Allen all of Greenville, South Carolina.

Celebration of Life will be at 2 pm, Sunday, October 13, 2024, at Beasley Funeral Home Greenville Chapel. The interment will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
