Mrs. Lizzie Mae Bryson Herbert, age 83, of 851 Boyd Road, Laurens, S.C. passed away on Friday, September 20, 2019 at the Saint Francis Hospital Downtown in Greenville, S.C. She was born August 3, 1936 in Laurens, S.C., a daughter of the late Marshel and Flora Bell Burnside Bryson Sr. She is survived by her husband Larry Herbert Sr. of the home; one son, Larry Herbert Jr. of Duluth, Ga.; four daughters, Vergia H. Mgbo of Gray Court, S.C., Phyllis D. Herbert of Laurens, S.C., Teresa (Frank) Pearson of Spartanburg, S.C., and Vernessa (Duane) Dickens of Bowie, Maryland.; one brother, Marshel Bryson Jr of Enoree, S.C.; seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Lizzie Mae Bryson Herbert will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at 1 p.m. at the Flatt Ruff Baptist Church in Gray Court, S.C. with the Reverend Jim Pyles Jr. officiating with burial to follow in church cemetery.. The family is at the home of 851 Boyd Road, Laurens, S.C. Beasley Funeral Home, Laurens is in charge of arrangements.
