Ms. Lillie Allen Putman, age 68, of 68 Oakley Drive, Gray Court, South Carolina, passed away on July 6, 2022 at Hillcrest Hospital of Simpsonville, South Carolina. She is the daughter of Fred Pierce Allen and the late Rosie Lee Cunningham Allen. She is survived by in addition to her father are three daughters, Tonya Allen Putman of Laurens, South Carolina, Denise Tribble (J.C.) of Fountain Inn, South Carolina and Umekka Putman Speaks of Duncan, South Carolina; three brothers, Larry Joe Sullivan (Delois) of Gray Court, South Carolina, Michael Whitfield of Troy, New York and Alton Thurman of Brooklyn, New York; three sisters Arlene Allen Scott (James) of Newark, New Jersey, Pastor Beverly Thurman Jones (Curtis) of New Britain, Connecticut and Barbara Allen of Kinston, North Carolina; ten grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; one godson, Fred Richardson of Gray Court, South Carolina and a host of other relatives and friends. No public viewing will be held for Ms. Putman per family request. Floral contributions may still be sent to Beasley Funeral Home of Fountain Inn. Funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, July 16, 2022 at the Beasley Funeral Home Chapel, Fountain Inn, South Carolina. Burial will be held in the Center Rabun Baptist Church Cemetery, Gray Court, South Carolina. Reverend Albert Blandin will be officiating.
