Mrs. Ligretta B. Morris, age 89, of 991 Mt. Carmel Road, Gray Court, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2026.  Born in Laurens County, she was a daughter of the late George Wylie Dorrah and Mary Bell Saxon Dorrah.

She is survived by her husband, Fred Morris; one daughter, Towanna Brooks; two brothers, James M. Dorrah and Phillip M. Dorrah and one sister, Carrie Todd.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Sunday, May 17, 2026 at Mt. Carmel AME Church Cemetery.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
