Mr. Leroy Hunter Sr. better known as "Sonny" of 304 Stuart Street, Laurens, passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2023 at his home; he is survived by one son, Leroy Hunter Jr.; two daughters, Patricia Fowler, and Felicia Hunter (Abiola) Kolasi; one sister, Doris Anderson; his grandchildren; and great-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.

A private memorial service for Mr Leroy "Sonny" Hunter Sr. will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at 2p.m at the C.D. Beasley Memorial Chapel of the Beasley Funeral Home in Laurens, with Rev. James McDaniel II officiating. The family are receiving visitors at the home 304 Stuart Street, Laurens, S.C. The Beasley Funeral Home of Laurens is in charge of the arrangements.
