Mr. Leonard Carter age 76, 3 Jasper Drive Greenville, South Carolina died on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at the McCall Hospice House in Simpsonville.He was born and raised in Crosshill, South Carolina a son of the late John Carter and Gussie Lee Griffin Carter. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a retired USPS mail carrier.He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Ann Ray Carter of the home; one son, Cedrick (Tamara) Carter of Greer, South Carolina; three daughters, Alma (Van) Carter of Denver, Colorado, Miranda D. Carter of Arlington, Virginia and Dorthea Carter of Atlanta, Georgia; eleven grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2pm Sunday, October 7, 2018 at Beasley Funeral Home Greenville Chapel with Reverend Derrick L. Pendergrass officiating. Burial will be in Greenville Memorial Gardens with military honors. The family is at the home.Beasley Funeral Home Greenville is in charge of the arrangements.
