Mr. Leon Thomas Hawkins, age 69, of Piedmont, South Carolina passed away Friday, December 2, 2022 at St. Francis Hospital Downtown. Born March 25, 1953 in Greenville, South Carolina, he was a son of Ruby Lee Reid Hawkins and the late Robert Lee Hawkins. He is survived by his devoted companion, Norma Darlene McKinney Locke for over twenty-eight years of the home; four sons, Chevis (Shantelle) Irby of Greenville, South Carolina, Erick (Mariah) Locke, Derrick (Trina) Locke, and Dana Locke all of New Mexico; three daughters, Emma (Rodrigo) Green of Greenville, South Carolina, Pamela (Michael) Gray of Simpsonville, South Carolina, and Tawanda Blakley of Greenville, South Carolina; his mother, Ruby Lee Reid Lomax of Greenville, South Carolina; two brothers, Leo Maurice Cannon Jr., and Charles Cannon both of Greenville, South Carolina; three sisters, Julia Nedwards, Trudy Duck both of Greenville, South Carolina and Wanda Thomas of New Jersey; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Public viewing will be on Sunday, December 11, 2022 from 10am-6pm at Beasley Funeral Home (Greenville). Funeral services will be 1pm Monday, December 12, 2022 at Rock of Ages Baptist Church. Interment will be in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
