Mr. Larry Joe Scott, age 63, of 113 Woodland Drive, Fountain Inn, passed away at his home. Born in Greenville County, he was a son of the late James Calvin Scott and Queen Esther Bates Scott and husband of the late Elizabeth Lavan Gilliam Scott. He is survived by two sons, Kenyatta Scott of the home and Larry (Patricka) Scott of Mauldin; one sister, Demetria S. Barksdale and seven grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 2:30 p.m., Sunday, September 10, 2023 at the Golden View Baptist Church, with Reverend Jeffery Williams and Dr. S. B. Neely officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The family is at the home of his niece, Deanna Barksdale, 402 Rosemary Lane, Fountain Inn.
