Kaleb Maurice Austin, surprised his parents by arriving early at twenty-three weeks on November 27, 2019 at St. Francis Women's Hospital in Greenville, South Carolina.
Kaleb, spent seventy-three days in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital, where he fought many battles as a strong and brave little fighter.
On Saturday, February 8, 2020 Kaleb Maurice Austin in the arms of his mother, his eyes met the eyes of Jesus at eight-fifteen in the morning and departed this earthly tabernacle. He was truly loved by all who met him.
Kaleb gave us a lifetime of love during his short time on earth. He touched many lives and was loved deeply by family, friends, nurses, and other hospital staff. His life was a brief gift to us that will live on forever and will be greatly missed.
He leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Maurice and Teriny Austin, and his big sister. Reighlyn Austin all of the home; maternal grandparents, Tracie Bailey of Greenville, South Carolina and Willie (Kimberly) Jones of Charlotte, North Carolina; paternal grandparents, Christephanie Stroud of Laurens, South Carolina and Rodney Austin of Gray Court, South Carolina; maternal great grandparents, Thomas (Patricia) Wilson of Greenville, South Carolina, Willie (Wilamena) Jones of Ora, South Carolina and Joyce Bailey of Travelers Rest, South Carolina; paternal great grandmother, Roberta Austin of Laurens, South Carolina. A host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who loved him.
Graveside services will be held 2pm Friday, February 14, 2020 at Flat Ruff Baptist Church with Pastor Jim H. Pyles Jr., officiating.
