Mrs. Joyce Lavorn Blake Wilks, age 73, of Greenville, South Carolina died on Friday July 1, 2022 at the McCall Hospice House in Simpsonville, South Carolina. Born in Chester, South Carolina a daughter of the late Charlie Blake and Charlie Mae Hunter Blake, also the wife of Tommie Wilks, Sr. She is survived by her devoted husband Tommie Wilks Sr. of the home; one son, Tommie (Joeanne) Wilks Jr. one daughter, Deborah Lavorn Wilks(Reginald) Stevens of Taylors, South Carolina; one sister, Joan Blake of Greenville, South Carolina; four grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral services will be held 1:30p.m., Sunday July 10, 2022 at Beasley Funeral Home Chapel Greenville. Public viewing will be on Saturday from 10-6pm. Burial will be in the family cemetery in Chester, South Carolina immediately following the service.
