Mr. Johnny Lovelist, age 61, of 112 Ron McNair Road, Mountville, S.C., passed away Monday, October 21, 2024 in Laurens, S.C. He is survived by his companion, Ms. Anita Diane James of the home; one son, LaQuincy (Shanita) Higgins; two daughters, LaTosha Lovelist, Keytavius Higgins; four stepchildren, Jermaine Jones, Krystal James, Avious James, Talissa James; his mother, Mrs. Lillie Pearl Lovelist; one sister, Jackie (Willie Jr.) Nance and twenty-five grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mr. Johnny Lovelist will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, October 26,2024 at the C.D. Beasley Memorial Chapel of the Beasley Funeral Home, Laurens, with Reverend Wilbert Simpson officiating. Burial will follow in the Calvary Memorial Gardens in Laurens. The family is at the home of his mother, Mrs. Lillie Pearl Lovelist 219 Pridemore Street, Laurens.
