Mr. John Anthony Thomas, age 48, of 105 Sagewood Court, Fountain Inn, SC,died Sunday, January 4, 2015 at the Hillcrest Memorial Hospital, Simpsonville, SC. A son Johnny Lee(Betty) Hellams and Dorothy Thomas Hellams and husband of Tracy Goodjoin Thomas, he was a member of the Pleasant View Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Tracy Thomas of the home; two sons, Jaliar Thomas of Fountain Inn, SC, Dantavis Williams of Woodruff, SC; two daughters, Shaquita (Tyrone) Goodjoin Byrd of Fountain Inn, SC, Jasmine Poole of Greenville, SC; two brothers, Tyrone Hellams of Gray Court, SC, Thaddeus Hellams of Spartanburg, SC; five sisters, Deborah (Dray) Jones, Stephanie Hellams of Gray Court, SC, Angela (Bobby) Owens of Simpsonville, SC, Michelle Elkins of Fountain Inn, SC and Diane Hellams of Virginia and three grandchildren. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Thursday, January 8, 2015 at the Pleasant View Baptist Church, with Rev. Waddy L. Talley officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family is at the home. Beasley Funeral Home, Fountain Inn is in charge of arrangements.
