Mr. John Lewis Mayfield, age 75, of 1520 Jones Mill Rd, Fountain Inn, passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2022 in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Born on September 11, 1946 in Laurens County, SC, he was a son of the late Ulysee Mayfield and Carrie Bell Downs Mayfield. He is survived by his sons, John W. Mayfield, Tyrone L. Mayfield, Sr., Lee I. Mayfield, and Cary L. Mayfield of the home; two sisters, Polly Ann Booker and Betty Sullivan; eleven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends. Public Viewing for Mr. John Lewis Mayfield will begin at 2:30, Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at Beasley Funeral Home Chapel, Fountain Inn. Service will be held at 3:30pm, Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at Beasley Funeral Home Chapel, Fountain Inn with burial immediately following service in Resthaven Memorial Park, Piedmont.
