Mr. John Robert Mahaffey, age 84, of 317 Strasburg Drive, Simpsonville, SC, passed away Thursday, September 18, 2025.  Born in Greenville, SC, he was a son of the late John W. Brown and Bertha Walker Mahaffey.  He is survived by his wife, Barbara Annette Mahaffey; three sons, Leeword (Juanita) Canada, Todd (Tonia) Mahaffey and Antonio (Sophia) Mahaffey; two daughters, Michelle (Hamilton) Hawthorne and Barbara Jean (Jesse) Hampton and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Saturday, September 27, 2025 from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Beasley Funeral Home, Fountain Inn.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Sunday, September 28, 2025 at Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church.  Burial will be in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
