Mr. John W. Henry, age 71, of Simpsonville, South Carolina passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2022 at McCall Hospice House in Simpsonville. Born December 29, 1950 son of the late Henry Hill and Mae Lou Henry, he was educated in the public schools of Greenville County graduating from Bryson High School class of 1969. He was a veteran of the United States Army and upon receiving his honorable discharge, began a long career in warehousing. He retired from the workforce at Fountain Inn Warehouse after many years of dedicated service. twenty five years of dedicated service. He was a member of Reedy Fork Baptist Church supporting the ministry until his health declined. He is survived by one daughter, Nalisha Henry of Easley, South Carolina; two sons, Scirocco Henry and Lavarus "Tyrell" Henry both of Greenville, South Carolina; two brothers, Allen Henry of the home and Leonard(Kim) Hill of Simpsonville, South Carolina; one sister, Henrietta Hill Sullivan of Greenville, South Carolina; three beloved grandchildren, Tyliah, Kadym, and Elijah of Greenville, South Carolina.

Public viewing for Mr. Henry will be held on Friday December 2, 2022 from 10:00a.m.-6:00p.m. at Beasley Funeral Home Greenville.

Home Going services will be held 11:00a.m., December 3, 2022 at Reedy Fork Baptist Church with Pastor T. E. Simmons officiating. Burial immediately following in the church cemetery with military honors. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Upstate Fatherhood Coalition.
