Mr. John Earl Smith, of 1243 Boyd Road, Laurens, South Carolina, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2020 at the Rainey Hospice House in Anderson, S.C. He was preceded in death by his wife Mrs. Elizzie Smith. He is survived by two sons, Reverend Willie (Sabrina) Turner, Mike Smith; two daughters, Denise (Reverend Burley) Williams and Towansa Foggie; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Private Funeral services for Mr John Earl Smith will be held on Friday, April 24, 2020, at 2p.m at the C.D. Beasley Memorial Chapel of the Beasley Funeral Home of Laurens, with Pastor Burley Williams officiating, burial to follow in the Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Public viewing will be held on Thursday, April 23, 2020 from 10am- 4pm at the Beasley Funeral Home of Laurens. The family will be located at the home of his son, Rev. Willie(Sabrina) Turner, 1089 Friendship Church Road, Gray Court, South Carolina. The Beasley Funeral Home of Laurens is in charge of the arrangements.
