Mr. Joe Allen Madden, age 89, of 128 Epps Drive, Simpsonville, passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2024. Born in Greenville County, SC, he was a son of the late Nathaniel Madden and Sarah Sullivan Madden and husband of the late Alberta Madden. He is survived by four sons, Joe Alton Madden, James A. Madden, Toney (Debra) Madden and Darrol (Karen) Madden; two daughters, Barbara Harrison and Sharon (Horace) Butler; two brothers, Bobby (Mildred) Madden and Robert (Della) Madden; three sisters, Annie Sullivan, Sally Bryson and Shirley Canada; nine grandchildren; sixteen great –grandchildren and two great, great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 12 Noon, Monday, January 8, 2024 at I-85 Church of Christ, Greenville, SC. Burial will follow in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
