Ms. JoAnn Pinson Sullivan, age 79, of Greenville, South Carolina the daughter of the late Theodore Pinson Sr. and Hattie Lee Pinson, made her transition on August 22, 2024, at Cherrydale Post Acute formerly Heartland Healthcare-East in Greenville, South Carolina.
She was a student at the Joseph R. Bryson High School graduating class of 1963. She retired from Greenville County Schools in 2007 after 35 years of service as a special education bus driver. She was a faithful member of Reedy Fork Baptist Church where she was a member of the Inspirational Choir and participated in various ministries. She was an amazing baker and seamstress. When she was not baking, she enjoyed bowling, bingo, and going to the casino.
She is survived by two sons: Daniel (Debbie) Sullivan I and Edward Charles Sullivan; one daughter Marthena Sullivan; one grandson reared in the home Daniel Sullivan II; nine grandchildren: Destiny Wells, Dametria Williams, Nikesha Wells, Shequila Richardson Hall, Dianthius Sullivan, Leondaus Sullivan, Shamone Norris, Demetries Whitner, and Paul Travez Norris; ten great-grandchildren: five siblings, Versalle (Willie) Jones, Hattie Ruth Campbell, Darlene Black, Bennie and Paul Pinson; sister in law Vernelle Pinson and the father of her children Fred Sullivan and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends Friday, August 30, 2024 and Saturday August 31, 2024 from 12pm-6pm at104 Perigon Court, Greenville, South Carolina the home of her granddaughter, Shequila Hall.
Public Viewing on Monday, September 2, 2024 from 12-6pm at Beasley Funeral Home-Greenville.
Celebration of Life Services will be held 12pm Tuesday, September 3. 2024 at Reedy Fork Baptist 3115 Fork Shoals Road Simpsonville, South Carolina with Pastor T. E. Simmons , Eulogist.
