Mr. Jimmy Dawkins, age 79, of 7160 South Old Laurens Road, Gray Court, passed away Sunday, May 3, 2026.

Born in Greer, SC, he was a son of the late Clarence Dawkins and Geneva Bruton Dawkins and husband of Millie Peggy Dawkins.

He was a decorated US Army veteran and a forty plus year employee of Beasley Funeral Home.

He is survived by his wife, Millie Peggy Dawkins; two sons, Mark (Minatiya) Dawkins and Brandy Dawkins and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 12 Noon, Saturday, May 9, 2026 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Laurens, SC.  Burial will be in Westview Memorial Park, Laurens.

The family is at the home.
