Jerry Berry, 77, of Douglasville, GA, passed away on November 14, 2022. He was predeceased by his

parents Sarah and Preston Berry as well as his sister Azalee Harold and brother Jimmy Berry.

In his early years, he attended Sterling High School, where he had a love for track & field. Later in life he

grew to love being a transportation driver, where he retired after 50+ years of service.

Jerry, leaves behind his surviving wife Willie Simpkins Berry of Fountain, Inn SC. and his children,

Anthony (Wanda) Jackson of Rome, GA., Drica Berry of Fountain Inn, SC., Ryant (Katina) Berry of

Greenville, SC., and Resa (Lynelle) Barrett of Simpsonville, SC. He leaves his cherished grandson Quan

Richardson, whom he reared in the home and granddaughter Santana Jackson who he shared a special

bond with. In addition, he has a total of thirty-four grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. He

leaves two surviving brothers-in-law's Willie Simpkins, of Greenville, SC and David Harold of Atlanta, GA.,

two sister-in-law's Peggy Moore of Waterloo, SC., and Janie Grant of Monrovia, CA., and host of nieces

and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Beasley Funeral Home-Greenville Chapel
