Mr. Javan Atkinson, age 76, of 4589 Mountville Road, Mountville, S.C. passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at the NHC of Clinton, in Clinton, S.C. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Lela Atkinson; two sons, Mitchell Atkinson, Travis (Tywanda) Atkinson; one daughter, Sandra Atkinson; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Genella (Willie) Robertson, Bernice (Johnny) Hall, and Irene Atkinson.

Funeral services for Mr. Javan Atkinson will be held 2 p.m., Thursday, February 20, 2025 at the St. Vaughnville Baptist Church in Chappells, S.C., with Reverend Ray Pilgrim officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Vaughnville Baptist Church Cemetery. The family is at the home of his son, Mr. Travis and Tywanda Atkinson, 1236 Garlington Road in Mountville, S.C.
