Ms. Janie R "Gennie" Sullivan Butler age 67 of 123 Sullivan Road, Simpsonville, South Carolina passed away on Monday, May 23rd, 2022 in Simpsonville, South Carolina. Born in Greenville County, she was a daughter of the late James Bernard Sullivan and the late Nellie Ruth Brownlee Sullivan. She is survived by one son, Robert Tyrone Brown of Centerville, Virginia; two brothers, Leroy (Claudia) Green of Laurens and George Cook of Buffalo, New York; three sisters, Brenda Sullivan of the home; Lisa (Jack) Montgomery of Fountain Inn, South Carolina and Diane Cook of New York; one grandchild and a host of relatives and friends Funeral Service for Ms. "Gennie" Butler will be held 1:00pm Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at Rocky Creek Baptist Church, Simpsonville with Pastor Adrian Wideman and Reverend Jacqueline Spurgeon officiating. Burial immediately following in Greenville Memorial Gardens, Piedmont. Public Viewing will be held Tuesday, May 31 from 12 Noon - 06:00pm at Beasley Funeral Home, Fountain Inn.
