Mr. James Massey, age 26 of 310 B. Appaloosa Drive Greenville, South Carolina died Wednesday, September 14, 2016 in Grady Hospital, Atlanta Georgia. He was born December 15, 1989 in Greenville County a son of Patsy Massey and James Milton Gambrell and reared in the home of his paternal grandmother the late Lois B. Gambrell. He attended Greenville High School, and then proceeded to serve a term in the United States Army. He recently received his certification as an OSHA Forklift Operator. He is survived by his parents Patsy Massey and James (Juanita) Gambrell; one daughter, Javeah Mitchell; one son, Nicholas Mitchell; three sisters, Sasha Thompson, Tadashia Wood, and Verlissia Massey; three brothers James Shatodd Wood, Orenthious Massey, and Travis Wood all of Greenville, SC; a fianc Mary Morris of Atlanta, Georgia; Funeral service will be held 2pm Monday September 26, 2016 at the Beasley Funeral Home Chapel Greenville with Minister Morrell Stokes officiating. Burial in the Greenville Memorial Gardens, The family is at 42 Riverwood Circle the home of Mary Gambrell his aunt.
