Mr. James H. Gaines, 68, of Augusta Street, Greenville, South Carolina passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2019. Born in Pelzer, South Carolina he was the son of the late Houston Gaines and Elizabeth Dogan. Mr. Gaines is survived by one daughter, Minister Rayvelette Gaines Farrington of Simpsonville, South Carolina; one son, Pastor Lenny Gaines of Anderson, South Carolina; one sister, Debbie Gail Jackson of Greenville, South Carolina; and one brother, Wilton Gaines of Pelzer, South Carolina; along with a host of relatives and friends. Funeral Service for Mr. Gaines will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, September 21, 2019 at Flat Rock Baptist Church, Piedmont South Carolina with Pastor Lenny Gaines officiating. The family will be at the home of his daughter: Minister Rayvelette Farrington, 136 Milam Road, Simpsonville, South Carolina. Beasley Funeral Home, Fountain Inn is in charge of arrangements.
