Mr. James Dorrah

Mr. James Dorrah, a resident of Gray Court, South Carolina, passed away on October 19, 2026, at St. Francis Hospital. He was born on November 28, 1934, in Laurens, South Carolina.

He is survived by his wife, Elaine Dorrah; bonus son, David Hawthorne; daughter-in-law, Joyce Dorrah ( Barbara); brother, Philip Dorrah; sister, Carrie Todd (John); seven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

Public viewing will be held Monday, October 26, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at Mount Carmel AME Church in Gray Court, South Carolina. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
