Mr. James Rufus "Ruddy" Burton, age 65, of Greenville, South Carolina passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2026. Born in Laurens, South Carolina, a son of the late Foster Burton and Helen Hewins Burton. He is survived by two daughters, LeKeya Burton, and Toshiba Burton both of Greenville, South Carolina; four brothers, Foster Robert Burton Jr, Allan Hewins, Randolph Burton, and Charles Burton all of Fountain Inn, South Carolina; ten grandchildren. A host of other relatives and friends.

A Memorial Services to honor "Ruddy" as he was affectionately called by his family and friends will be announced by his daughters later.
