Mr. James Elliot "Foot" Allen, of 400 Hunters Court, Laurens, S.C., passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at his home. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Marry Peterson Allen of the home; one son, James D. Peterson; one stepson, Wayne (Lynn) Peterson; one daughter, Kimberly (Lafrance) Reid; one stepdaughter, Sherry Williams; three brothers, Melvin (Gwynn) Allen, Raymond Allen, Richard (Sarah) Allen; three sisters, Nancy (John) Carter, Carolyn Allen, Sheree Allen; Aunt, Jessie Workman; and two grandchildren, Dalen Reid, Darran Jordan. Funeral services for Mr. James Elliot "Foot" Allen will be held 1:00pm on Sunday, August 7, 2022, at New Grove Baptist Church, Laurens with Reverend Namon Dawkins officiating. Burial will immediately follow in the church cemetery. The family is located at the home. Beasley Funeral Home, Laurens is in charge of the arrangements.
