Mr. Howard Eugene Boyd, 65 of New York passed away on August 21, 2020. Mr. Boyd was born in Laurens County on December 3, 1954. He was a son of the late Willie L Boyd and Mary Thrift Boyd. He is survived by his sons, Jason Boyd and Fernando Dessett both of New York; sisters, Annie Mae Garrett of Durham, North Carolina, Carrie Lou Spurgeon of Fountain Inn, South Carolina, and Pearlie (Frank) Durham of Gray Court, South Carolina; grandchildren, Jaceen Boyd, Jason Boyd, Destiny Boyd, and Yajé Dessett; great grandchildren, Zamir Boyd and Hazel Boyd; fiance', Ms. Jean Paul of New York; two sisters in law, Catherine Boyd of Greenville, South Carolina, and Sadie Boyd of Fountain Inn, South Carolina; along with a host of other relatives and friends. Services for Mr. Howard Eugene Boyd will be held 12 Noon Saturday, September 5, 2020 at Beasley Funeral Home Chapel, Fountain Inn with Rev. Herbert Goodjoin officiating. Beasley Funeral Home, Fountain Inn is in charge of arrangements.
