Mrs. Hortense Yeargin Carter, age 78, of 464 Old Ferry Road, Chapin, S.C. formerly of Gray Court, S.C. passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2021 at her home. She is survived by her husband of the home David Carter Jr; one daughter; and two grandchildren. A private memorial service for Mrs. Hortense Yeargin Carter will be held on Friday, January 8, 2021 at the C.D. Beasley Memorial Chapel of the Beasley Funeral Home of Laurens.
