Mr. Henry Miller Sweeney, Jr., age 78, of 111 Sweeney Road, Simpsonville, SC, passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2026.  Born in Greenville County, he was a son of the late Henry Miller Sweeney, Sr. and Carrie Dogan Sweeney.

He is survived by his loving life companion, Sylvia Hinton; three daughters, Bridgetta Dawkins, Princess Putman and Jamie Hinton; one son, Clayius Putman; twelve grandchildren; his siblings, Elizabeth Gibbs, Clarence Sweeney and Charles Sweeney.

Pubic viewing will be Wednesday, January 28, 2026 from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Beasley Funeral Home, Greenville.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Thursday, January 29 2026 at Rocky Creek Missionary Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
