Ms. Hattie Mae Campbell, age 87, 107 Thrift Drive, Fountain Inn, SC, passed away Thursday, July 20, 2023. Born in Laurens County, SC, she was a daughter of the late Brooks Sims, Sr. and Miranda Cheeks Sims.

She is survived by one son, James Roger Campbell of Greenville; six daughters, Dorothy McCullough, Linda Campbell and Margaret Spurgeon of Greenville, Patricia Rivers of Columbia, Rhonda Campbell and Chandra C. Smith of Simpsonville; one brother, William Calvin Sims of Gray Court; one sister, Catherine Finley of Gray Court; sixteen grandchildren; thirty-four great grandchildren; eight great, great-grandchildren and three sisters-in-law, Katrina Sims of Greenville, Mildred Sims of Butler GA and Carrie Sims of Fountain Inn.

Funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Friday, July 28, 2023 at Beaverdam Baptist Church, with Dr. O.T. Hill officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The family is at the home.
