Mr. Harold S. Perrin, age 71, formerly of Greenville, South Carolina, departed this earthly tabernacle on Thursday, March 13, 2025, as a patient at INOVA Fairfax Hospital, Falls Church, Virginia. Harold was born on October 22, 1953, in Greenville, South Carolina, the son of the late James and Alberta Crouch Perrin and Peter Clay.

Harold was a graduate of J.E. Beck High School, class of 1971. Soon after, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, where he served with honor and distinction until 1980. His military career took him to many places, including Vietnam and Japan, before he was finally stationed at Quantico, Virginia.

Harold established his home, remaining in the Northern Virginia area for the remainder of his life. Harold continued a life of public service working for the United States Postal Service until his retirement in 2008.

Harold is survived by his daughter, Ashley Perrin of Arlington, Virginia; sisters Linda J. Fuller of Greenville, South Carolina, Debra Duck (Hugh) of Travelers Rest, South Carolina, Vallera Clay of Greenville, South Carolina, Petra Clay-Jones (George) of Mauldin, South Carolina, Bessie Cobb (Leslie) of Cypress, Texas, and Addie Clay (Barry) of Greer, South Carolina; one brother, Grady Clay of Greenville, South Carolina; a godson Devon French of Woodbridge, Virginia.

Celebration of Harold Sanford Perrin's Life and Legacy will be held 2 pm Saturday, March 29, 2025, at Rock Hill Baptist Church #1. Interment services will be at Resthaven Memorial Gardens with military honors. The family is 148 Carver Street, the home of Linda Perrin-Fuller his sister.

Public Viewing will be on Friday 10-6 pm.
