Mrs. Gracie Jones, age 87, of 274 Pleasant View Drive, Gray Court, SC, died Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at her home. A daughter of the late Henry Kennedy and Sally Cleveland Kennedy, she was a member of the Bethel Grove AME Church and a former employee of Beattie Plant. She is survived by her husband, Climson Jones, Jr. of the home; three sons, Frankie Jones, Clement Jones of Gray Court, SC, Curtis Jones of Fountain Inn, SC; one daughter, Bessie Mays of Detroit, Michigan; one sister, Carrie K. Henry of Columbia, SC; thirteen grandchildren; thirty-two great grandchildren and four great, great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, October 5, 2013 at the Pleasant View Baptist Church, with Rev. Moses McCants, Rev. Lamont Jones and Rev. Waddy L. Talley officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family is at the home. Beasley Funeral Home, Fountain Inn.
