Mr. George Allen Brown, 78, of Fountain Inn, South Carolina, departed this earthly tabernacle on Sunday January 11, 2026, surrounded by his devoted wife and family. Born in Fountain Inn, South Carolina the son of the late, Milous Theodore Brown and Lenora Burnside Brown, he was educated in the public schools of Greenville County, graduating from Bryson High School, class of 1966. He enlisted in the United States Army serving a two-year term and received an honorable discharge.
He is survived by his devoted wife and caregiver, Jone Croft Brown of the home; four sons, Alan Madison of Decatur, Georgia, Jetton Brown, Craig (Tish) Croft, and Demetrius (Terecilyn) Croft all of Simpsonville, South Carolina; three daughters, Vanessa Mills of Fountain Inn, South Carolina, Cherre (Samuel) David of Ellenwood, Georgia, and Falana (Kevin) Brown-Sullivan of Columbia, South Carolina; one brother, James D. Burnside of Piedmont, South Carolina; three sisters, Patricia (Harold) Carelock of Eden, North Carolina, Lashanda Curtis of Florida, and Helen (Jesse) Brown Caldwell of Clinton, South Carolina; sixteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
Public Viewing: Saturday, January 17, 2026, from 10:00 a.m.- 6:00 p.m. at Beasley Funeral Home -Greenville.
Home Going Celebration: 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 18, 2026, at Flat Rock Baptist Church. Interment will be immediately in the church cemetery with military honors.
