Mrs. Gail Elaine Young Barton, age 63, of Greenville, South Carolina passed away on Friday, September 2, 2022 at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born January 17, 1959 in Greenville, South Carolina a daughter of the late A. C. Young and Annie Pearl Booker Young and she is the wife of Michael Barton. She was a home health aide with the Heart of the Carolinas, also a dedicated member of Power4Living Worship Center serving on the Deaconess Ministry. She is survived by her husband of twenty-four years, Michael Barton of the home; three sons, Calvin Lamont (Amy McCullough) Young, Keith Emmanuel Smith and Derrick Antrone Young all of Greenville, South Carolina; two brothers, A. C. ( Beverly)Young and Roy Booker both of Greenville, South Carolina; six sisters, Reverend Bernice (George) Crossman of Greenville, South Carolina, Marion Farmer of Simpsonville, South Carolina, Annie (Robert) Laster, Sarah Hawkins, Teresa Henderson all of Greenville, South Carolina and Reverend Tracy (Derrick) Fleming of Easley, South Carolina; eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Public viewing will be on Friday from 10:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m, at Beasley Funeral Home, Greenville.

Celebration of Life services will be held 12n Saturday, September 10, 2022 at Power4Living Worship Center 513 Old Cedar Rock Road in Easley. Burial will be in the Fairforest Baptist Church Cemetery.
