Mr. Furman Eugene Kanard, age 68, of Greenville, South Carolina was born on September 27,1953 to the late Mike Junior Kanard and Ruby Nell Davis. Furman passed away on March 3, 2022 at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Kanard of the home; eight sons, Tony Nelson of Greenville. South Carolina, Michael Nelson of Greer , South Carolina, Terrence Johnson of Greenville, South Carolina, Courtney Sloan (Tocsha) of Gray Court, South Carolina, Furman Garnett (Victoria) of Irmo, South Carolina; Dentaria Garnett, Alex Garnett, and Bernard Garnett all of Greenville, South Carolina; two daughters, Shea Murray (Spencer) of Simpsonville, South Carolina, and Brenda Garnett of Taylors, South Carolina; four brothers, Pat Brown (Lois) of Simpsonville, South Carolina, Michael Kanard, Billy Kanard , and Fredrick Atwood (Candace) all of Greenville, South Carolina; four sisters, Lois (Robert) Carter of Spartanburg, South Carolina, Montez Seales, Elaine Kanard, and Jean Kanard all of Greenville, South Carolina; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Public Viewing will be Thursday March 10, 2022 from 10am-6pm at Beasley Funeral Home Chapel, Greenville. Funeral Service will be held 1 p.m., Friday, March 11, 2022 at I-85 Church of Christ in Greenville Burial will be in Greenville Memorial Gardens Cemetery
