Mrs. Freddie Lee Young, age 79, of 500 Brickhouse Road, Laurens, died Friday, November 18, 2016 at her home. Born in Laurens, a daughter of the late Fred Fowler and Emma Thompson Fowler, she was a member of the Bethel Hall Baptist Church. She is survived by two daughters, Jacqueline (Bobby) Wilson and Janice (Brian) Williams of Laurens; two sisters, Ada Young and Martha (Fred) Gamble of Laurens; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at the Bethel Hall Baptist Church, with Rev. Thomas Dendy officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family is at the home. Beasley Funeral Home, Laurens.
