Mr. Fred Pierce Allen, age 90, affectionately known as Cornelia, of 394 Curry's Lake Circle, Gray Court, passed away Thursday, September 12, 2024 at Fountain Inn Post Acute.  Born in Laurens County, he was a son of the late William Prince Allena and Martha Ware Allen.  He is survived by four daughters, Pastor Beverly (Curly) Jones of New Britain, CT, Barbara Allen of Kingston, NC, Khrystal and Charissa Bell of Clinton, SC; two sons, Michael Whtfield of Troy, NC and Alton Thurmond of Brooklyn, NY; two sisters, Bernice Atkins and Annie Bright of the home; thirty grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren and twenty-one great, great-grandchildren; a special daughter-in-law, Gail Tribble of Fountain Inn; a special nephew, Larry Joe (Delores) Sullivan of Gray Court and a brother in Christ, Henry Sutton, Sr. of Tampa, FL.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Thursday, September 19, 2024 at Center Rabun Baptist Church, with Rev. James Anderson, officiating.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.
