Mr. Frank Bernard Rainey, age 53, of 698 Chapman Road, Fountain Inn, passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at Greenville Memorial Hospital, Greenville, SC. Born in Laurens County, he was a son of Bessie Fuller Philson and the late Frank Philson, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Valdena W. Rainey of Greenville; six sons, Lamar (Charity) Walker, Landis ( Myra) Walker, Aries Scott and Aces Scott all of Simpsonville, Jazzmore Walker and Barshay Walker of Greenville; three daughters, Kwanequa Walker of Mauldin, Laporscha Walker of Simpsonville and Saria Walker of Taylors; his mother, Bessie Philson of Fountain Inn; four brothers, Rev. Sammie Rainey, Eddie "T.C." (Yolanda) Rainey and Curtis (Sonya) Philson of Fountain Inn and Willie (Lorene) Walk of Gray Court; three sisters, Mary (Michael) Sullivan Rose (Moses) Randolph-Rainey of Fountain Inn and Carolyn (Johnell) Walk of Gray Court and thirteen grandchildren. Funeral service for Mr. Rainey will be held 2 p.m., Thursday, July 7, 2022 at Golden View Baptist Church, Fountain Inn, with Rev. Jeffery Williams officiating. Burial will immediately follow service in the church cemetery. Public viewing will be held on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 from 12 Noon until 7 p.m. Beasley Funeral Home, Fountain Inn is in charge of arrangement.
